Del Sol Press seeks to publish exceptional work by both new and recognized writers, along with republish literary works that many of us consider extremely significant knowning that have gone outside of print. Our emphasis is on original, unique, and accessible work WITH AN EDGE, though our approach is eclectic. Because of this, we eschew noncommunicative forms (language poetry rip-offs, Finnegan's Wake imitations, and many others) and genre fiction (unless exceptional).

Finalist manuscripts as well be considered for publication. The winner receives a $1,500 honorarium, paid May, 2016, and book publication by Del Sol Press in fall 2016, plus 20 copies from the winning book.
